Crosscut Track

Crosscut MTB Track

The Crosscut Track winds its way uphill, skirting the remains of what are thought to be long-lost logging sawpits and snig tracks that date back to the early 1800s.

Crosscut is a dual-use trail that climbs through forest to the top of the nearby Upper Luge, a popular downhill-only mountain bike track.

As well as a great climbing track for mountain bike riders it is also a smooth run for trail runners and a lovely walk for bushwalkers.

For those looking for a bit more challenge there are some rocky shortcuts that increase the gradient and technical difficulty.

Shared use tracks like the Crosscut can be used by pedestrians and mountain bike riders.

Dogs are permitted on lead only on Crosscut.

Please Note: Upper Luge is for bikes only, so no dogs on this track please.
