Annual General Meeting

In accordance with the Local Government Act 1993, the Annual General Meeting must be conducted before 15 December each year.

On Monday 22 November 2021 at 7.30 pm, the City of Hobart will conduct its 2021 Annual General Meeting at the Hobart Town Hall which will live stream via the City of Hobart YouTube channel.

The Lord Mayor will present the City of Hobart Annual Report 2020-21 and invite comments and questions from the community about the report.

Residents and ratepayers of the City of Hobart are also able to lodge written submissions or questions relating to the Annual Report in advance of the meeting, for presentation at the Annual General Meeting. If you wish to make a submission and/or question(s) in advance, these are to be lodged no later than Thursday 18 November 2021 at coh@hobartcity.com.au or via the online AGM submissions form.

The City of Hobart Annual Report 2020-21 is available on the Annual Report page. A copy of the meeting agenda will also be available here closer to the date of the meeting.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, seating will be limited. To register your interest in attending the AGM please contact the Council Support Unit on 03 6238 2827 or by email rsvpcsu@hobartcity.com.au. A COVID-19 Safe Plan(PDF, 589KB) has been developed for the AGM.

Alternatively as the meeting will be live streamed, it can be viewed via the City of Hobart YouTube channel.
