Hobart is one of the most beautiful and liveable cities in the world, and our communities play an important role in helping to make Hobart a sustainable place to live, work and play.
The City of Hobart has programs to help local communities care for our natural open spaces and local biodiversity, programs for schools to learn about energy efficiency and grants for communities, schools and businesses to become more sustainable.
The City has also listened to Hobart's school kids on what climate change means to them – follow the pages below to find out their thoughts and ideas.
Whatever the Weather
The City partnered with the Clarence City and Kingborough Council's through Southern Tasmanian Councils Authority and a Tasmanian Government grant to develop Whatever the Weather to encourage communities to adapt and respond to climate change impacts.
