Winter activity program
Winter is a wonderful time to appreciate Hobart’s temperate environment. There are activities and adventures for every age group to enjoy in the Bush Adventures winter program.
The youngest Bush Kids will be adventuring from Fern Tree’s rainforest for Flora the Explorer’s Silver Falls to Sandy Bay for Penguin Party, while older Bush Kids will be heading off for Bush Adventures across all of Hobart. Adults have the opportunity to slip into their gumboots for a Botanical Foray, or step into history at Beaumaris Zoo. After dark, the whole family can fire up the flashlights for Dasyurids after Dark, and our family favourite Where our Wild Things are.
In August, we’re participating in National Science Week, so join us at the Festival of Bright Ideas, or our special scientific Bush Adventures program.
