Planning an accessible and inclusive event
We are committed to supporting event organisers to host accessible and inclusive events.
Making an event accessible doesn't have to be overwhelming or complicated.
Simple things will help ensure everyone enjoys the experience. This includes:
- having the right attitude
- an easy to access venue
- well trained staff
- clear communication around event information.
The Hobart Access Advisory Committee has developed event resources to help in planning events. These provide practical advice on how to make your event accessible and enjoyable for all.

The Guide to Marketing your Event is available to help community groups promote their events. The guide includes information on:
- how to develop a marketing plan and budget
