Hobart Interim Planning Scheme 2015

PSA-18-2 Amendment – 66 Summerhill Road rezoning

The Tasmanian Planning Commission (TPC) has given final approval to the above amendment which came into operation on 18 November 2021.

The amendment is to rezone 66 Summerhill Road West Hobart from Environmental Management, Environmental Living and General Residential to Low Density Residential. The amendment also extends the Biodiversity Protection Area Overlay to cover the entire rezoned area.

The amendment can be viewed below, or at the City of Hobart Customer Service Centre, 16 Elizabeth Street Hobart. A copy of the Hobart Interim Planning Scheme 2015 as amended is available at iplan.tas.gov.au.

To help the community understand Hobart's planning system, the City of Hobart has prepared a guide outlining the process of making amendments to a planning scheme.
