Council and Committee meetings

**The Council Meeting scheduled for 23 March will go ahead. To maintain social distancing protocols, interested members of the public are advised to listen to the live stream via the link on this page, rather than attend in person...... All Committee Meetings are temporarily  cancelled until futher notice.**

Council meetings start at 5 pm and are held in the Council Chamber, Hobart Town Hall and are open to the public.

The Council and City Planning Committee generally meet twice a month and other Council committees meet once a month.

Minutes of meetings are available on this website once they have been endorsed and signed at the next ordinary meeting.

An Auslan interpretation service can be arranged for meetings with advance notice. Please contact 03 6238 2720 if you would like to arrange this service.

Council meetings are livestreamed through this website. To listen, visit Council meeting live recordings.

All the meeting dates for the year are advertised in the Mercury in January and are available on the website at any time: Meeting Schedule for Council and Committees page. These dates may change so always double-check closer to the date of the meeting you want to go to.
