Nepalese New Year 2076 Celebration
The Nepalese New Year, also known as "Navabarsha", is celebrated by the Nepali people which is based on Nepal’s lunar calendar called "Nepal Sambat".
This year the 14th of April will be observed as the Nepalese New Year 2076. In Hobart, the Nepalese New Year celebration is proudly hosted each year by the Nepali Society of Tasmania, which brings families and communities together to rejoice the day with cultural dances, music, and foods.
This family-friendly event will feature young talents from the Nepali language school "Pathsala" and the veteran cultural dancers. Also, there will be live musical performances by the invited and local artists.
The celebration is an excellent opportunity for all the newly arrived Nepalese to connect and build a network with other community members in Hobart.
