Mayoral Reception - Aurora Australis Farewell 2020

On Thursday the 17 of September, The City of Hobart hosted a Lord Mayoral Reception to farewell the Aurora Australis after her decommissioning and a lifetime of service in Antarctica and the southern oceans.

Speeches on the night were from:

  • Lord Mayor, Cr Anna Reynolds
  • Michael Stoddart – Aurora Australis Foundation
  • Leanne Millhouse – Australian Antarctic Division
