Applications are now open to join our City Welcome Volunteer Program.

The purpose of the volunteer program is to provide a warm and friendly welcome to visitors arriving in Tasmania, whilst providing them with general information and travel recommendations to enhance their time in our beautiful state.

Becoming a volunteer is a great way to give back to the local community, learn new skills, make new friends and help people. We encourage people to apply who are friendly and confident, and who like meeting people, from all walks of life.

The volunteer program operates at Salamanca Market, Tasmanian Travel and Information Centre, MAC 02 Cruise Ship Terminal, Hobart Airport, and the opportunity to be involved at City of Hobart community events.
