Parking

The City of Hobart provides both on-street and off-street parking across the city.

On-street parking is there for high-turnover short-duration stays. This helps more people to find a parking spot when and where they need one.

You can stay longer by using our off-street multi-storey carparks throughout the CBD.

As a driver, you have a responsibility to check which rules apply and to follow them. Rules for parking are displayed on signs nearby. Visit our parking rules and signs page for common signs and meanings, and our report illegal parking page to make a complaint about illegal parking.
