Park and Ride
Park your car at the Regatta Grounds and catch the free shuttle bus to and from the city or waterfront, from Monday 8 December.
To access the Regatta Ground car park, follow McVilly Drive until you pass the public toilets. The entrance is signposted.
Dates and times
The gates at the Regatta Grounds:
- open 15 minutes prior to the start of each shuttle bus service
- are locked 30 minutes after the shuttle bus service ends.

Christmas shopping

Days: Monday to Saturday only, from Monday 8 December to Wednesday 24 December
Car park hours: 9.15 am to 6 pm
Shuttle bus operating hours: 9.30 am to 5.30 pm
Taste of Summer

Days: Saturday 27 December to Saturday 3 January
Car park hours: 11.45 am to 8.30 pm
Shuttle bus operating hours: 12 noon to 8 pm
New Year's Eve
Bring in 2025 safely and conveniently.
Day: Wednesday 31 December
Car park hours: Gates open at 9 am and gates will not be locked overnight, vehicles can be left overnight and picked up on 1 January.
Shuttle bus operating hours: 11.30 am to 1 am
Due to road closures, the bus stop on Morrison Street (outside Mission to Seafarers) will be relocated to Elizabeth Street between Davey and Macquarie streets from 3 pm to 1 am on New Year's Eve.

The service is expected to take around 15 mins each loop.
Passengers can get on and off the bus at any of the 3 stops.
The shuttle bus is wheelchair accessible. The bus seats 51 passengers. Prams are welcome.
