About Hobart Live
Hobart Live is a partnership between the City of Hobart, Music Australia and APRA AMCOS.
The program supports live music across Hobart by:
- creating more opportunities for local artists
- supporting live music venues
- connecting artists, businesses and industry partners
- helping people enjoy more live music across the city
- growing Hobart's night-time economy
- building a stronger future for Tasmania's music industry.
The program runs throughout 2026-27 and includes professional development, industry events, music showcases and city-wide activations.

A showcase event that helps connect Tasmanian artists with industry representatives, presenters and promoters from around Australia, creating pathways for future opportunities.
The 7000
A city-wide live music activation celebrating Hobart's music community through performances and music experiences across the 7000 postcode.
