Unsolicited proposals
We welcome innovative ideas and business opportunities that help achieve our strategic objectives and benefit the community.
We value partnerships with those who share our vision for growth, development, and positive social and environmental outcomes.
What is an unsolicited proposal?
An unsolicited proposal is a new and innovative idea that has not been requested through our regular procurement processes. It is something that could assist us in achieving our strategic objectives or satisfying a community need.
Types of unsolicited proposals may include:
- Infrastructure projects: building or financing new infrastructure for the community. For example, roads, bridges, parks, or public buildings.
- Goods and services: providing specific goods or services to or on behalf of the City, which are not covered by existing procurement processes.
- Commercial transactions: proposals involving the sale, lease, use, and/or development of Council-owned land and assets.
- Council land: requests for the City to consider landowner consent to lodge a development application for Council-owned land.
- Innovative ideas: unique projects, goods, or services that offer benefits to the community and align with the City's strategic objectives.
