Council meetings and committees

The Hobart City Council operates under the Local Government Act 1993. The Council holds regular meetings where Elected Members discuss and vote on agenda items. Once decisions are made, the City of Hobart Administration is responsible for carrying them out.

The Council has set up Committees to support its decision-making.
