Summer Sounds Series

Our Summer Sounds Series is the newest addition to Hobart's summer cityscape.

It will feature:

• Two weeks of performances on three stages across the foreshore by soloists, duos, or street performers
• Four Sunday afternoon band gigs at selected unusual performance spots across the city (11, 18, 25 January and 1 February 2026).

We are calling for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from soloists, duos or street performers to perform on one of the three waterside stages between the Taste of Summer and Sydney to Hobart festival sites. The stages are called the Wharf, Pier and Dock stages.

Performance times are 11 am and 1.30 pm on the following days:

• Monday 29 December 2025 to Friday 2 January 2026.
• Monday 5 January to Friday 9 January 2026.

There are two additional performance slots on 31 December at 4 pm and 6.30 pm.
