Summer Sounds Series

Our Summer Sounds Series is back!

It will feature:

  • 40 performances for soloists and duos across two sites on the waterfront
  • 3 larger gigs at fun sites across the city with opportunities for two full bands at each show.

Foreshore Series

The Foreshore Series occurs along the waterfront between The Taste of Summer Festival and the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.

Performance times are 11 am and 1.30 pm on the following days:

  • Monday 28 December to Wednesday 30 December
  • Friday 1 January
  • Monday 4 January to Friday 8 January.

On Thursday 31 December (New Year's Eve), performance times are 12 pm, 4 pm and 7 pm.

Signature Gigs

The Signature Gigs each featuring a headliner and a support. Dates include:

  • Sunday 17 January from 4.30 pm to 8 pm at The Railway Roundabout (Corner Brooker Highway and Liverpool Street)
  • Sunday 24 January from 5 pm to 8.30 pm at Legacy Park Amphitheatre
  • Sunday 31 January from 12.30 pm to 4.30 pm at Long Beach

Apply online

Timing for the EOI process is as follows:

  • Open: Wednesday 7 October
  • Close: Monday 2 November
  • Outcomes: Wednesday 2 December

Please note that:

  • preference will be given to locally based performers
  • Foreshore Series spots are only available to solo and duo acts
  • headline and support spots will be offered to the acts which suit the format of the curated gig
  • the Long Beach gig will be targeted towards a younger family crowd so will target family friendly acts.
