South Hobart Bushcare looks after a resilient bushland remnant of rare black peppermint forest. This is found nestled in the middle of South Hobart at Wellesley Park.
They are removing weeds such as gorse and cotoneaster. Removing these weeds enhances the bushland values of this area. They have also revegetated some of the more degraded areas of the park for wildlife.
Meets: third Sunday of the month, 10 am - 12.30 pm.
