Ferry journeys that deliver people into and out of Hobart are a unique and enjoyable way to travel.

Ferries don't get bogged down by road congestion. Like walking and bike riding, ferry trips create a great sense of wellbeing.

Derwent Ferries timetable

The ferry services on the River Derwent have been of great benefit to many daily commuters. We will work with the Tasmanian Government to improve connectivity between ferry stops. This will be achieved through a safe and connected walking and bike riding network.

Extra ferry services for Christmas

We are supporting Derwent Ferries to provide additional services in December.

These will support local businesses, help ease congestion and assist shoppers in the lead-up to Christmas.
