The only event of its kind in Australia, the Australian Antarctic Festival celebrates the role of Hobart as one of the world's pre-eminent gateways to the Antarctic. It acknowledges the contribution made by the Antarctic community to both the economy and the social fabric of Tasmania.
The festival delivers multi-faceted programming, celebrated throughout Hobart's significant Waterfront Precinct.
For four big days, this waterfront comes alive with a Festival packed full of energy, excitement and discovery!
