How to operate voucher machines

Once you have found a space and parked your vehicle, go to a voucher machine and get a voucher. Insert your money in the voucher machine to pay for the time required (restrictions apply). Machines accept 10c, 20c, $1 and $2 coins.

The City of Hobart is introducing new machines that can accept credit cards in the second half of 2017. These are not available in all areas so coins should be carried until all voucher machines are updated.

Place the voucher in your vehicle on the dash board (expiry time facing up) so that it can be clearly seen from the outside of the vehicle. If the voucher is placed upside down or unreadable from the outside of the vehicle you may get a parking fine.

Remember to lock your vehicle.

It is an offence to stay longer than the maximum time limit displayed on the signs at the entrance to each car park regardless of whether a voucher is displayed.

In case of a fault with the voucher machines, please phone 03 6238 2751.
