International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD)

Each year, ACD Tas youth leaders choose a social change project to work on, and this year they decided to explore looking at issues through the lens of disability.

It's big thinking, and to match it, the 2025 YEP (Youth Empowering Peers) group have teamed up to host a film festival on International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) with the City of Hobart, the Focus on Ability Film Festival, and Speak Out.

The young leaders have worked tirelessly to bring this together – meeting every week, taking larger leadership roles, honing new skills – and they are proud to announce that tickets are available!

This fun event is free and includes a complimentary light lunch.
