Clare Street Oval is used for cricket in summer and soccer in winter.
It is home to the New Town White Eagles Soccer Club and the New Town Cricket Club.
Two publicly accessible cricket nets, each with a synthetic surface, are available for training and casual use. Line marking includes a full‑size turf cricket pitch in summer and a senior soccer pitch in winter.
Change rooms and lighting are available to support organised sport and training.
The oval is next to Fairfield Playground.
