The Town Hall Underground Concourse is a unique venue to hold your special event or function.
Under the grandeur of the historic Hobart Town Hall is this hidden, rustic treasure.
The Underground comprises a hallway and four rooms including the ex-constables room. At the height of its use the rooms were connected by a tight staircase to the Town Hall Courtroom above.
The intimate, cave like Underground offers an interestingly raw backdrop for small creative events such as installations, contemporary music, performance art, sculpture exhibitions, a gallery space, and book launches.
