Home and dry

Help keep your dog comfortable by providing warm, dry shelter, fresh bedding and protection from rain, frost and cold winds. Regular exercise can also help reduce stiffness during colder months.

Registered

Ensure your dog is registered once it turns six months old and wears a collar with its registration tag attached at all times.

Control is the key

Keep your dog under effective control when out in public. Your dog must always be on a lead unless in a declared off-lead area.

Clean and tidy

Clean up any dog faeces in a public place immediately.

Stay on track

Prevent your dog from going into a prohibited area.

Two plus dogs?

If you own more than two dogs, apply for a kennel licence.

Shhhhhh

Prevent your dog from barking at, chasing or threatening people, other animals, or vehicles.
