Logo and guidelines

There must be clear space around the City of Hobart logo.

Other graphic elements such as other logos, text or images should not enter this area.

The shaded area around the logo in the image below shows the minimum clear space required for both versions of the logo. The amount of clear space required is half the height of the symbol.

The size of the clear space around the logo will change depending on the size of the logo used.

A minimum size rule exists to ensure the words can be easily read.

The preferred logo width cannot be any smaller than 20 mm in width:

Full colour logo

The colour version of the logo should always be used on a white or black background. This is the correct way to apply the logo.

Mono logo

The mono version should only be used when the colour version is not appropriate, for example on a coloured background.

The City of Hobart logo must not be:

• separated
• skewed
• rotated
• rearranged
• otherwise changed (including the colour and font of the logo).

All parts of the logo are fixed in size and position and may not be changed, apart from proportional scale (making the entire logo bigger or smaller).
