Home Composting Workshop

Food waste makes up nearly half of the average household rubbish bin and releases harmful greenhouse gases when disposed of in landfill.

As part of the efforts to achieve zero waste to landfill by 2030, the City of Hobart, in collaboration with Goodlife Permaculture, will host free workshops to help you learn how to compost your food waste at home and keep it out of landfill.

The workshops will cover how to compost food waste with small compost bins, large compost bays and piles, chickens, worm farms and more.

RSVP

Bookings for the Home Composting Workshop are essential, and the workshops book out fast. You can RSVP on the Good Life Permaculture website.
