Clare Street Oval is used for cricket in summer and soccer in winter.

It is home to the New Town White Eagles Soccer Club and the New Town Cricket Club.

Two cricket nets with synthetic pitches are available for use by the public.

Fairfield Playground is adjacent.

Dogs

This sportsground can be used as an off-lead exercise area when sport is not being played or activities undertaken.
