Join us in Waterworks Reserve to hear how the City of Hobart plans to remove environmentally harmful crack willows from the Sandy Bay Rivulet.
Crack willows choke waterways and form impenetrable thickets that lead to flooding. Their roots smother rivulet banks, pushing out native trees and shrubs, reducing oxygen available for fish and other aquatic wildlife.
Meet our waterways team at Site 9 in Waterworks Reserve to hear all about this project and ask questions.
