Trees and plants are vital to Hobart's identity, wellbeing and climate resilience.

Our goal is to grow canopy cover to create cooler, greener and more beautiful streets and suburbs. We are working towards this through planting programs, community partnerships and long-term planning.

We manage thousands of trees across Hobart's parks, gardens and streets. Our arborists monitor tree health, respond to maintenance requests and ensure safety. All while preserving the city's natural character.
