As part of a stormwater restoration works project funded by the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA), the City of Hobart undertook works to repair our stormwater assets located along the Hobart Rivulet which were critically damaged during the May 2018 flood.
Works in the lower reaches of the rivulet included concrete channel re-lining and stabilisation of wall footings. Works in the upper reaches of the rivulet included bank stabilisation with rock armouring, extension of the existing gabion wall near Anglesea Street and stabilisation and reinstatement of batters between Tara Street and MacFarlane Street.
If you would like to request further information about this project, please contact the City of Hobart at firstname.lastname@example.org.
