City to Gardens Way Track
The City of Hobart is undertaking detailed planning to improve pedestrian and cycling connectivity within and around the lower Queens Domain. The need for improved connectivity was identified as a priority in the Queens Domain Master Plan 2013 – 2033.
The project includes the design and final alignment of the ‘proposed City to Gardens Way’ pedestrian and cycling path between the City and the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, and other improvements to the shared path and track network within the lower Queens Domain.
The City has engaged local consultants Inspiring Place to prepare the plan, which will be available for public comment in late 2018. The public engagement period will widely advertised.
