The proposal is for a 10 storey, 68 room hotel with café, restaurant and bars.

The ground floor will have an open accessible forecourt featuring public artwork which will adjoin the entrance foyer containing a café and bar. There is an additional public restaurant and bar on the fifth floor with adjoining terrace and a rooftop garden bar, all operating no later than 12:00am. An additional guest garden terrace is to be provided as well as a meeting room and lounge facilities.

There will be 21 car parking spaces provided on site which will utilise a vehicle stacker accessed via the existing laneway. There will also be the provision of bicycle parking for the public and storage for guests.

The design will retain the existing Art Deco façade of the building with two main stepped and staggered elements extending above with planted perimeter balconies and a white perforated metal angular articulated façade treatment.
