The City of Hobart delivers a number of well known and popular events.

We also run regular activities through our programs Bushcare, Bush Adventures, Mathers House and the Youth Arts and Recreation Centre.

Financial assistance is given to a range of community and arts events through our annual Event Grants Program.

We also offer advice and assistance to individuals and organisations if you are running your own event.

Healthy Hobart

Healthy Hobart is a free program of sport and other exercise activities presented by the City of Hobart and Healthy Tasmania.

Bush Adventures

Our Bush Adventures program offers activities in local bushland reserves for people of all ages, from two-year-olds to adults.

Bushcare

Volunteering with Bushcare is a wonderful way of helping to protect the natural values of Hobart's bushland reserves and the native plants and animals that rely on them for sanctuary.

CityTalks Hobart

CityTalks is a webinar and public talks series, presenting inspiring ideas and innovation for Hobart’s future. Presented in partnership by the City of Hobart and the University of Tasmania.
