West Hobart Street Party

The City of Hobart invites local communities to join the West Hobart Street party on 30 June from 1-4 pm on the corner of Hill Street and Pine Street. The event has been organised as part of the Love our Streets West Hobart project and is an opportunity to explore your local area, connect with your neighbours and have some fun.

There will be a lot of activities for adults and kids including a makerspace, the imagination playground and face painting. Local community members will share their interest in electric bicycles and cycling in Hobart. Local gardeners will give their vegetable gardening tips and sell some seedlings and plants.

The Good Karma Network will facilitate a giveaway table for you to donate quality clothing, toys or bric-a-brac. If you would like to perform, there will be a community busker’s stage. Come to the party and sign up.

The organising group meets every Wednesday in June at 6 pm at Smolt Kitchen, 107-109 Hill Street, West Hobart.
