Trackcare Dig Day

We will continue to work at TWO sites for our next dig day. 

The main dig day will be on the Strickland Falls crossing track, where we’ll be benching, building berms, doing rockwork, edging and sorting out the track surface. All new and regular volunteers and families are welcome.

Meet us where the new track starts off Rivulet Track in Wellington Park (access via Strickland Avenue or Bracken Lane).

On the Drops, we will continue to install drainage points in key locations, harden the surface where required, and add bulk to a few of the corners.

This dig day is for more advanced mountain bikers who ride the track. It will involve a lot of technical and difficult work and is definitely for experienced riders only, and suitable for those aged 12 and over.

Rider input will be key to the success of the Drops project, so if you have an interest come and get involved!

The Drops dig crew will meet at the top of Drops track.

Please bring: strong boots, warm waterproof clothing, a hat and a drink. Gloves and all tools will be supplied.

Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Location

At this dig day we will be working at two sites.
For Strickland Falls, meet up where the track starts off Rivulet Track in Wellington Park (access via Strickland Avenue or Bracken Lane).
For Drops, the crew will meet at the bottom of the Drops track.
