The Hobart International is Tasmania’s biggest tennis event. Held annually at the Domain Tennis Centre every summer since 1994, the tournament attracts many of the world’s best female players and is an important lead-in to the Australian Open. Past champions include Kim Clijsters, Alicia Molik, Petra Kvitova and Garbine Muguruza. It is a family-friendly event with an array of off-court entertainment as well and free entry for all on the opening weekend.
In 2020 the event is proudly sponsored by the City of Hobart.
