Public Menorah Lighting and Celebration

The JCC TAS Benevolent Society and Chabad of Tasmania will host a Public Menorah Lighting and Chanukah celebration in Mawson Place next to the Waterside Pavilion.

The event will include:

  • Menorah lighting overlooking the water
  • everyone attending will enter into a raffle for a chance to win a beautiful crystal "draydel"
  • traditional doughnuts baked on the spot
  • Chanukah crafts for children of all ages
  • holiday music to get you in the mood
  • Hanukkah selfies.
