Native plant giveaway - Waterworks Valley Landcare

Come along and meet the Waterworks Valley Landcare Group and celebrate their latest project - creating habitat for wildlife at nearby Fantail Quarry. Learn about future activities and how you can be involved!

After a weeding activity collect two FREE Tasmanian native plants for your garden or patio.

By planting Tasmanian species in your garden you will provide food and shelter for our local animals, especially birds, bats and insects. You’ll also get plants which are easier to look after as they are already adapted to Hobart’s soil types and weather.

We can help you choose the ones that will best suit your garden.

A range of plants will be on offer, from ground runners to shrubs and small trees.
