What is a BOFA we hear you ask? It’s a breath of fresh air and, after the year that was, we could all do with a little. In fact, we believe a BOFA is so good for you, we’re inviting you back into the cinemas for the 2021 Tasmanian BOFA Film Festival. This May join us as we return to the big screen in both Launceston (30 April –2 May) and Hobart (28-30 May).

BOFA 2021 will showcase inspiring films curated around themes of Stories of Us, Chasing Wonder, The Choices We Make, World Stories, We Are Who We Are, Eat & Drink, By Design, and Climate Action. ALL films are MA 15+.
From a brewery to a restaurant and even a men’s outfitter we’ve found quirky venues for our BOFA Fringe classics screenings every Friday in May.
And if sumptuous films aren’t enough, the BOFA 2021 art exhibition, both in-gallery and online, as well as our new Icons of Tasmania online store, will be sure to delight.
The scene is set for our Roaring 20’s red-carpet opening night events in Launceston and Hobart, so make sure you get your tickets, because this is a BOFA like never before.
