Riding

Hobart is home to spectacular mountain bike riding in the foothills of kunanyi/Mt Wellington and on the Queens Domain.

The best known is the North-South Track, which links The Springs with Glenorchy Mountain Bike Park and blends seamlessly into the natural surroundings of kunanyi/Mt Wellington.

The City of Hobart maintains almost 60 km of mountain bike and shared use tracks. Well maintained fire trails provide key links between the most popular tracks and can offer some great riding opportunities.

Learn more about the different levels of difficulty on the track difficulty and grade system page.

Keep in mind shared use tracks can be used by pedestrians and mountain bike riders.
