NAIDOC Week 2018 - Forum: Because of Her, We Can!
The City of Hobart in partnership with Reconciliation Tasmania and supported by the University of Tasmania, invite Hobartians to the NAIDOC Week Forum to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
Following this year’s NAIDOC Week theme - Because of Her, We Can! – the forum will be devoted to the invaluable contribution that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have made – and continue to make – at the community, local, state and national levels.
A panel discussion chaired by Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Kate Warner AC, Governor of Tasmania will feature inspiring Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal women from across Tasmania including Aunty Patsy Cameron, Clair Andersen, Fiona Hughes, Erica Maynard, Yvette Breytenbach and Alderman Helen Burnet.
Please register your attendance on naidocforum.eventbrite.com.au.
