To celebrate Harmony Week 2019, the City of Hobart has teamed up with Glenorchy and Clarence Councils and the Multicultural Council of Tasmania in the Harmonious Hobart initiative to foster diversity and inclusion in Greater Hobart.
The Harmonious Hobart aims to build connections across Hobart’s many communities, promote understanding of different cultures and help newcomers feel welcome.
There will be a wide range of activities held across the City from 17 to 24 March to celebrate the many benefits that a rich culturally diverse community brings to city life.
Harmonious Hobart events will be published on this page as details are confirmed. Check back for more information in the coming weeks.
The initiative is funded through the Tasmanian Government Multicultural Grants Program.
During this year’s Harmony Week, share with us the benefits of diversity by writing down your experience on a sheet of paper. Take a photo of you holding that paper and email it to email@example.com. Also, don't forget to post it on your social media using #HarmoniousHobart
