National Tree Day Community Planting Event

Next date: Sunday, 01 August 2021 | 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM

Join us on the Hobart Rivulet for our annual National Tree Day event.

We hope to plant 1300 native seedlings on the day, so will need all hands on deck!

This planting project aims to increase biodiversity, improve water quality and improve habitat for our local wildlife, including our iconic platypus.

Come and collect a free native plant to help you create your very own habitat garden.

Everyone is welcome.

Register for this event on Eventbrite.

This is a COVID-Safe event and numbers are limited. All participants must register.

Please note:

  • Please wear sturdy closed-in shoes, long pants, long sleeved shirt, hat and warm clothes, and bring enough drinking water and snacks for the duration of the activity.
  • Please bring your own gloves if you have them. We will have spare gloves available on the day if you need them.
