Amendment

No. Condition 6 of the permit required that the parking space within the carport be sealed. The applicant does not wish to do this for a variety of reasons. These include
• The gravel is a more permeable surface and therefore allows for water to soak into the ground which is more environmentally friendly.
• There is no trafficking of gravel to the driveway and then onto the road as the gravel is well compacted.
• Allowing for gravel is more sensitive to the site’s Heritage past.
