Transport in the City of Hobart

The Council is responsible for the control of most traffic management functions in Hobart. The provision of traffic regulation signs and road markings is a shared responsibility with the State Government's Department of State Growth.

Traffic Management

The Traffic Engineering Unit of the City of Hobart, along with the State Government's Department of State Growth, share responsibility for the management of traffic on the road network within the City of Hobart.
