Bring your Grandparents along to relax in the wonderful setting of Mathers Place to celebrate Seniors Week. There will be demonstrations, local information, food, entertainment and face painting.

Create a Child Friendly City Diorama with your friends and family. Artists will be available to help with your making and to hear your ideas for a child friendly city.
You can display your completed Diorama in the Children’s Week Exhibition in mid October.

Three local young women will share their cultural dance, costumes and craft activities for our school holiday program.
There will be an opportunity to learn Bollywood, Chinese or Nepalese dance, participate in craft, games and tricks and a beautiful clothing display.
Living in Between is a project of the Students Against Racism in partnership with A Fairer World and TasTAFE, with support from the Australian Government Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

Wide Angle Tasmania and Hobart City Council proudly presents Flickerkids - a delightfully entertaining programme of short ﬁlms for shorties, designed to appeal to the big kid in everyone. The FlickerKids programme is collection curated by Flickerfest
- nine of the best Australian and International short films produced in 2011 and 2012. Flickerfest has a total running time of 96 minutes and all films are G rated and best suited for 6-12 year olds.

Roll up, roll up, the circus is coming to town!!
Here's your chance to try your hand at the wonderful world of circus! Come down to Mathers place, Hobart City Centre on 11th October and meet the fantastic trainers of Social Circus Tasmania. Have a go at spinning a plate, learning to juggle, throwing a diabolo and much more. All are welcome to attend this free workshop whether you are 5, 15 or 105!

Come and brave the giant inflatable slide, obstacle course and log runner, and make a splash on our dive boards. The School Holiday Splash program will run from 7-11 October 2013 (excludes weekends & public holidays) Monday - Friday only. The activities will run from 11.30am to 3.30pm during the school holidays. Splash is run on weekdays only, excluding public holidays. Please be reminded that normal supervision requirements apply.
