The Council's Bushland Fire Officer is responsible for implementing the Council's Fire Management Plans.
This includes the maintenance of the fire trail network, scheduling management burns, overseeing the review and updating of the fire management plans, assisting other Council officers with fire related issues and providing fire risk management advice to Hobart residents.
