The Hobart Christmas Pageant is a popular tradition that delights adults and children alike year after year. Not only do thousands of spectators take pleasure in viewing the procession, but the entrants themselves enjoy being part of the largest event of it's kind in Tasmania. The groups involved put so much time and effort into their entries, and to have an event like this in our City should make everyone very proud.
Pageant Day is a fabulous opportunity for the children to make up their wish list for Santa Claus, and for the adults to get a head start on the Christmas shopping! It's also a great day to witness the smiles on the faces of hundreds of people involved in this wonderful event.
Another succesful Pageant was held on Saturday 22 November with thousands of eager spectators lining the streets of Hobart witnessing some of the most amazing entries the Pageant has ever seen, culminating with the much anticipated arrival of Santa as he travelled the streets waving to the excited children who had been waiting for this special day for months!
Congratulations to all those who entered this year, and many thanks for the hours upon hours of work that every group put into providing their component of this spectacular community event.
