The amendments are also available for inspection during normal office hours from the publication of the notice.  As well as letting the applicant know of its decision, Council must notify the owner of the land, all adjoining owners and occupiers; and anyone who made a representation about the original application for a permit when it was advertised.  If you have received notification as one of the above parties you have a right of appeal to the Resourse Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal (Telephone 6233 6464) about Council's decision for 14 days from the day on which the notice was served on you.  Please note appeals can only be made against the proposed amendment and not the original approval.
