The 2008 Carols by the Bay will be held at Sandown Park, Sandy Bay on Sunday 21 December from 8.00pm until 10.00pm. Gates open at 5.00pm.

All proceeds raised on the night from the sale of programs, candles and merchandise supported Council's chosen charity, Variety Tasmania.
Variety Tasmania works 365 days a year for sick, disabled and disadvantaged children across the state. In the past two and a half years they have provided more than $380,000 to worthy causes for children. This includes more than $135,000 to the children’s wings of hospitals, $35,000 to Sunshine Coaches and $29,000 on Liberty Swings. Variety Tasmania is funded solely through donation and your support on the night was gratefully appreciated.
